Angelina Jolie’s “In the Land of Blood and Honey” Press Conference
She’s gearing up for the release of her directorial debut “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” and Angelina Jolie held a press conference to explain the thought behind the project.
Joined by the film’s stars Goran Kostic and Zana Marjanovic, the “Changeling” chick shared insights regarding the Bosnian/Serbian conflict.
Jolie stated, “I’ve tried to find a voice, through this film... to discuss these bigger themes of war and intervention and this film is not about a couple. It’s not about one woman. It’s not simply about these things... It’s about how human beings are changed and how they break down when they’re surrounded by such horror and such ugliness and such hate. And even very decent people are broken, and so I did this so we would have these questions and talk about the wars going on today.”
“In the Land of Blood and Honey” is set to hit theaters in limited release on December 23rd before it goes nationwide in the New Year.
