Capping off a hefty week of press efforts, Charlie Sheen backed up rumors by taking the stage at the 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 18).

The former "Two and a Half Men" star was among the long list of celebrities doling out a trophy at the Nokia Theatre LA Live event - as he presented the Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series Emmy to Jim Parsons.

During his speech, Charlie told the audience, "Thank you, good evening.... Thank you."

He continued, "Before I present Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, my old category, I want to take a moment to get something fof my chest and say a few words to verybody here from Two and a Half Men. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television. Now, on to the Emmy."

Sheen's appearance precedes his much-talked-about Comedy Central Roast, which will be airing on the network tomorrow night (September 19) at the same time as the season premiere of "Two and a Half Men".
